The South experienced a mild winter, so the gardens around the antebellum homes of Natchez are literally bursting with color and fragrance. But don't dare assume that spring is the only beautiful season in Mississippi. If you can't make a spring visit, come down a bit later and be welcomed by blooming magnolias and roses.
